Silk Scrunchies
These have been all the rage recently, especially with the brand Slip popping up all over! I personally have one Slip scrunchie with a matching silk ribbon (not gonna lie, I scored them at Marshalls before the quarantine went into effect!) But the other three are from Aeropostale, I can’t find the link but I bought them in store right after Christmas!
I love love LOVE this serum! I have been on a skin care kick ever since this past summer. I follow lots of estheticians on Twitter and have a few skin care books I have been educating myself with! I have tried many different Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide, but this is the first one I’ve tried that had both in one! I am now on my second bottle of it and I love it!
This is another product line that was heavily recommended by the professionals I follow on social media. My roommate used this rosewater and swears by it, that gave me even more incentive to try it out! I honestly don’t know the true purpose for rosewater spray aside from maybe freshening up your face throughout the day, but I absolutely LOVE the toner! Toner has become such an important step for me in my skin care routine and this being a hydrating one has done wonders for me!
Hand Creams
These have been my saving grace this past winter. For the first time in my life my hands have been cracking with the dry air! I think the current circumstances and washing my hands every time I walk into a different room or when I touch something has contributed to this as well. I repurposed a candle jar and have all of my mini hand creams next to my bed so I can use them right before I fall asleep and they hopefully repair overnight, they’re also great to keep in your purse or backpack! My personal favorites are the Dionis Goat Milk Creams or the Overnight Moisture from Bath and Body Works!
After FINALLY getting back to my natural hair color, I was in serious need of hydrating hair care. I went from dirty blonde (or as my hair stylist likes to say “dirty dishwater blonde”) to platinum blonde and every other color in between since my freshman year spring break. The air in State College is so dry and cold and the water in my apartment was so harsh my hair was getting so brittle and dried out I was desperate. I was recommended this product and will never go back! This set of hair care has been the best I have tried out so far! My hair is so soft and shiny after I use it, it has truly transformed my hair for the better in a few short months!
I tried this out around Christmas time with a little sample kit of Supergoop! products and fell in love with it! I have tried so many different sunscreens and this was the first one I have tried that doesn't leave a white cast on my face. I love the silky formula it blends in so well on my face after all of my products and even acts as a primer for makeup!
