The one thing I love about Summer is how much free time I have to read. Since I just graduated I am in this limbo period where I don’t quite know what to do. Typically as soon as I end one semester I spend the rest of summer prepping for the next. But, this time… I’m not sure what is coming next! Between applying to jobs and cleaning everything ten times out of boredom I have resorted to my summer reading list. I began a summer reading list when I was tired of being bored out of my mind while floating around the pool in the Texas heat (such a hardship, I know!)

Although I am not in Texas this summer I still wanted to continue working my way down my list. I recently purchased City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. But as I was searching for other books at Barnes and Nobles I realized how much I miss the luxury of a public library. Books are expensive! I wish there was some kind of service where I could rent a book and have it mailed to me and send it back when I am done, (maybe there is and I just haven’t done enough research, let me know if you have). After tallying up and discovering I would be spending an absurd amount of money on books just to end up on a shelf for the rest of eternity, I decided to invest in an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite.

I set mine up, but I haven’t used it yet. I’m waiting to finish my last paperback before delving into the world of e-reading. I got so many great reviews I can’t wait to give it a try, especially at the beach! I'm hoping to read half of this list by the end of summer, let me know if y'all ave any suggestions.
