What better way to start a Monday than the best social media holiday there is, National Puppy Day! This is by far my favorite “holiday,” I could spend hours scrolling through my feed looking at everyones puppies!

Especially on days like this, where there is so much fear and uncertainty in the world it is nice to log on and see all of that on pause and see a cute picture that puts a smile on your followers faces! So without further ado, I present to you, my two pride and joys, my puppies Pacey & Murphy!

Pacey is a Miniature Poodle, we adopted him when he was nine months old (trust me if we had the choice, his name would be shaggy!) He earned his moniker because he is known for pacing around, especially in his crate! Not to brag, but I am definitely his favorite human when I am home from school! He can be found sleeping on the top of the couch like a cat and cuddling up to me like a baby at night! Pacey will be celebrating his 5th birthday this year in May!

This is Murphy and his story is… kinda crazy! January 2019, I boarded a plane in Houston, Texas to come back to Penn State! Little did I know when I landed my parents would be sending my photos of the puppy they adopted completely spur of the moment. They embarked on a journey to the mall for dress pants and somehow, somewhere between the mall and our house, they ended up with an eight-week-old Lhasa-poo! Since I wasn’t home to spend those crucial formative months with him, I got to name him! I decided on Murphy, something about very sophisticated names for dogs makes me giggle.

And last but not least, Thea! She is not really my dog, she is my boyfriend's family dog! But since Penn State has decided to continue the semester with remote learning I have been in New Jersey rather than risking the travel home to Texas. She has been my best companion through all of these changes! Thea is almost six-years-old, and is a Border Collie mix. She LOVES chasing groundhogs outside and booping your nose for treats. Our favorite morning routine is snuggling with all her toys and she is confused why all her humans are working from home!

I hope this post finds you well, and brings a smile to your face! Stay safe out there, and give your pup a squeeze!

xoxo, talk soon!
