Cookies in Quarantine

As I am beginning to wrap up my senior year of college (that doesn’t even sound real) I have been trying out new things. I have begun to find myself with an abundant amount of free time, no human should have this much free time on their hands!
I have a crazy sweet tooth and a stand alone mixer so I set out to Pinterest to find something delicious to make! As we all discovered in my last post, I have a deep appreciation for Joanna Gaines, the normal amount, I promise, nothin crazy.
I tried out the Joanna Gaines Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. And as someone whose talents are not in baking, they turned out amazing! Check out the recipe below:
-2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
-1 heaping teaspoon of baking soda
-½ teaspoon of sea salt
-8 tablespoons (1 stick) of unsalted butter, at room temperature
-2 cups packed light brown sugar
-2 large eggs
-1 ½ teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
-1 ½ cups of semisweet chocolate chips

As someone who has had these cookies from the Silos Baking Co. I don’t think I did too bad! They were the perfect amount of sweet and salty, and softness in the center!
I hope this post finds you well and you get the time to try out this delicious recipe, stay safe out there!
xoxo, talk soon!
